Shallow shelves or slatwall ledges hold the sample upright or slightly reclined, with a lip so the bag does not walk. Slatwall accessories are the family: a shelf, not a garment hangrail, is the default.

A short hook run is for totes and shoppers you want grabbed. Hooks into the walk are a specification failure. Match hook length to bag depth the same way pegboard matches pack depth.

A table or nested cube is the campaign bag — one or three, not the delivery. Tables vs walls. A pile of straps on a feature table is overflow, not a story.

Do not use clothing hangrail as the hero bag wall. Straps tangle, silhouettes collapse, and the perimeter looks like a stockroom.

When shelves win vs hooks

The table is a filter. Confirm shelf depth, lip, and hook length on the quotation. Do not assume a garment faceout will hold a tote.

Height and the walk

Eye height for the sample. Lower for overflow you still want seen. Kids’ bags if you sell them need a lower pitch — the same discipline as hangrail height, which is a sibling decision on the same wall.

Keep the first two metres from the door empty of hanging straps. Layout wants a story, not a curtain of leather. One campaign bag on a cube after decompression is enough.

Common mistakes

• Hanging every colour in the aisle. The sample is the display. Colourways live on a shelf or in back.

4. A table or cube only if there is a campaign bag, not as default storage.
5. Language of the document, Thai or English.

Send shop type, how many styles you will hold on the floor, and whether bags share a wall with apparel. That is enough to specify a sample wall instead of a strap curtain.
