Faceout spacing on slatwall is how many arms a wall can take before it becomes a showroom with no size run. Independent retailers in Thailand put a faceout in every groove because the print photographs well. The shops that convert count arms as feature capacity and keep hangrail for replenishment.

What spacing is for
Each faceout occupies depth into the aisle and width along the wall. Too tight, garments fight and nobody sees a print. Too many, the size run disappears. Layout: arms into the first two metres are a four-way by another name.
Story wall: a handful, with air between. Size-run wall: hangrail, almost no arms. Mixed bay: one group of faceouts, then rail — what a 40 sqm boutique needs.
Arm length belongs on the quotation so two people pass — same discipline as outriggers and hook length. Hangrail height must still match. A faceout at the wrong groove is a print at knee height.
Panel layout: grooves are a grid. You cannot invent a spacing the panel does not have. Count arms as a number, not “plenty.”
Waterfalls need even more width. They are a stepped story, not storage.
