What table height is for
A campaign table is for touching and seeing, not for the size run — that is hangrail. Too low, the drop disappears. Too high, it is a barrier. Layout: not in the first two metres as a wall.
Adult fashion / gift. A height you can browse without kneeling. We do not publish a universal millimetre. Floor finish and the product stack change it. Write it on the quotation.
Kids. Lower if children are the shopper — kids heights, toy shop. Do not split the difference so nobody can use it.
Nested sets. High campaign plus low touch that can disappear. Specify both heights exploded and nested.
Not the wrap. Packing height is a different object — cash wrap. Do not copy wrap height onto the feature table.
Beauty testers are not a display table — tester counter. Shoe try-on wants a seat, not a high cube — shoes.
When height fights the walk
A tall nest exploded beside a four-way is two barriers. Pick one floor story. Mall sightlines may cap height — landlord.

Write the millimetres, then fold the drop
