A gift shop fixture checklist for independent retailers is labelled density, a table you can change, and a wrap that still packs — not a fashion hangrail as the hero. Independent gift shops in Thailand often copy a boutique perimeter: slatwall, faceouts, a mannequin. The shops that convert use a peg or grid niche for counted SKUs, shelves for boxes, and one campaign table. Garments, if any, are a side wall.

Do not add a centre gondola in under 50 sqm unless the SKUs are genuinely supermarket-counted and the walk still exists. Do not add six mannequins. A gift shop is not an apparel showroom.
Slatwall is still useful as a finished perimeter that can take shelves and hooks. It is the wrong hero if you then hang T-shirts you barely sell. Slatwall vs grid vs peg is the wall-family pick.
Layout that walks

What to skip
Fashion hangrail as the main wall. A jewellery case for souvenirs that are not jewellery. A full beauty tester counter unless you actually test. A supermarket endcap forest.
Materials for shelves and hooks belong on the quote. We do not publish gift-shop package prices.
Common mistakes
- Boutique copy-paste. Your SKUs are counted and boxed.
- No labels.
- Table as storage. Campaign only.
- Pegboard in the window.
- Wrap covered in hanging socks.
What belongs on the quotation
- Wall system and the accessory mix (shelf vs peg vs hook).
- Table count (usually one).
- Wrap and whether an impulse tray fits.
- Ticket / frame lines if signage is in scope.
- Language of the document, Thai or English.
Send shop type, the mix (how much is hanging vs boxed vs peg), and floor size. That is enough to specify a gift floor instead of a fashion floor with postcards.
Density with a walk, not a boutique costume
