Collectibles Shop Display Fixtures
Lock only what needs a key. Keep the series on open shelf with tickets. A case on the wrap is a pause every sale.
Collectibles shop display fixtures are cases versus open shelf for figures, cards, and sealed product — not a fashion hangrail, and not a security-rating claim. Independent hobby and figure shops in Thailand often lock everything because the internet shows jewellery cases, or they peg everything because a toy shop did. The shops that convert split the assortment: open labelled shelf for the walk-up line, a case for the line that actually needs a key, and a counter that still packs a box.
This is specialty retail, 20–60 square metres. Toy shop checklist is the cousin. Glass display cases and jewelry showcases are the case families. We do not publish security ratings, warranties, or “museum” claims.
What each fixture is for
Open shelf for sitting boxes and series the customer compares without a key. Lip if the box walks. Labels. How much shelving.
Peg or grid for hanging smalls and blister — pegboard. Unlabelled pegs are a puzzle.
A case when the SKU needs a pause before it leaves. Access from the staff side. Light as a line item if the case is not under the shop’s only lamp. Do not fill the case with a city of acrylic risers.
The wrap packs. A case on the packing top is a service pause every sale — cash wrap. Impulse is one tray of sleeves or toploaders, not a second shop — impulse display.
Cards: a dedicated shallow run beats a dump bin. High-value singles in a case if you accept the key. We still do not invent lock grades.
When a case helps vs when it hurts

Layout: decompression empty. A wall of locked glass in the first two metres is a closed shop. Gift shop density still wants tickets — price tickets.
Mall height and electrical for lit cases — landlord restrictions. Materials for the cabinet; we do not publish load or theft tests.
Common mistakes
- Locking the entire shop.
- Pegboard as the only system for boxed figures.
- Case on the wrap.
- No labels on open shelf.
- Inventing a security grade in the brief. Do not ask us to write one.
What belongs on the quotation
- Shelf vs peg vs case split, counted.
- Case size, access, light as a line.
- Wrap leftover after POS.
- Ticket / label lines.
- Language of the document, Thai or English.
Send shop type (figures, cards, mixed) and what actually needs a key. That is enough to specify a collectibles floor instead of a jewellery costume.

- No. We will not invent a security rating. Say whether staff-side access is required; the case is still a fixture line, not a promise.
