Yoga Studio Retail Fixture Wall
Keep racks off the mat path. One labelled exit wall if you sell take-home. The practice floor is class, not a boutique.
A yoga studio retail fixture wall is mats and smalls after class — not a boutique hangrail in the practice room. Independent studios in Thailand put a four-way of leggings on the yoga floor because the catalogue showed apparel. The shops that still teach keep merchandising off the mat path and give take-home a named bay at exit.
Sports shop checklist is the wider vertical. Cafe-retail is the same split: service path vs gift wall. Pegboard holds counted bottles and bands. Price tickets still come first.
What the wall is for
Practice floor. Empty enough to lie down. Fixtures here steal class. Do not put hangrail in the first two metres of the room — layout, aisle width.
Retail bay at exit. Mats (sample one, stock in back), bottles, straps, labelled smalls — wall hooks vs shelves, mesh baskets vs shelves. Not a fashion size run as the hero unless you are actually an apparel shop with a class.
Wrap / reception packs bags and books the next class — cash wrap, queue space. Impulse is a tray, not a gondola in the shoe-off zone — impulse.
Mall and building rules may own corridor retail — landlord. Street studios still owe remaining walk after a shoe rack.
Hair salon retail is the sibling: product wall off the chair. Here, product wall off the mat.
We do not invent a mat count or a class capacity. Those are not fixture lines we fake.
When retail belongs
| Job | On the practice floor | Named exit bay |
|---|---|---|
| Class | Empty | — |
| Sample mat | Weak — trip | One sample, stock in back |
| Apparel run | Never | Wall after class if floor remains |
| 40 sqm studio | Skip most retail | One short wall or skip |
Opening priority: walk and wrap before campaign racks.
Common mistakes
- Four-way on the yoga floor.
- Hangrail as the studio hero.
- Unpriced bottles on a window ledge.
- Shoe-off pile in the retail bay.
What belongs on the quotation
- Practice vs retail bay — named split.
- Sample vs stock for mats.
- Remaining walk after the wall.
- Tickets on take-home SKUs.
- Language of the document, Thai or English.
Send studio type and whether you actually sell take-home. That is enough to specify an exit bay instead of a boutique in the room.
Mats off the practice floor
If you are adding retail to a yoga studio in Thailand, keep racks off the mat path. Send the shop type, the size, and the opening month through the fixture plan form. We will return one fixture schedule and one written quotation — Thai or English — covering the exit bay, reception, and the walk.
Common questions
- Can clothing racks sit on the yoga floor?
- No. The floor is class. Put apparel on a named exit bay if leftover walk exists.
- Should every mat sit on the retail wall?
- One sample. Stock in back. A wall of mats is a warehouse in the exit.
- Do take-home bottles need price tickets?
- Yes. Unpriced facing is not merchandising.
- Retail in a 40 sqm studio with a full class?
- Often a short wall or skip. Two jobs on one floor fail.
