Shop-Opening Fixture Priority List for Thailand

Published 30 August 2026 · 4 min read

Open with a perimeter, a packing surface, and a path. Four-ways and lightboxes wait until the size run and the wrap exist.

A shop-opening fixture priority list for Thailand is wall, wrap, walk, then campaign — not a mood board of every object on week one. Independent retailers try to open with a four-way, a rounder, nested tables, a gondola, and a lightbox. The shops that open on time specify the size run, a packing surface, and a path, then add the story.

Six-week checklist is the calendar. How to brief is the pack. This page is the order you buy.

The order

  1. Landlord rules — drill, height, dock — landlord restrictions. Without this, everything else is a guess.
  2. Measurehow to measure.
  3. Perimeter system — slatwall, grid, peg, or freestanding — wall family. Accessories counted — slatwall accessories.
  4. Hangrail height and splitheight, double vs single if apparel.
  5. Cash wrap that packs — cash wrap. Not a jewellery case on top.
  6. Walklayout. No forest in the first two metres.
  7. Fitting room if apparel — fitting rooms.
  8. Ticketsprice tickets.
  9. One floor story — table or four-way, not both plus a rounder.
  10. Window and signage on the same schedule — window, signage.
  11. Campaign extras — nested cubes, extra forms, impulse tray.

Fixtures vs custom: do not wait on a full custom package if a standard wall plus wrap opens the door. We do not invent lead times. Your opening month belongs in the brief so the schedule is honest.

What a 40 sqm boutique needs is quantities. This list is sequence.

What can wait until week two

A second table. A third mannequin. A gondola in a boutique. Graphic slatwall. A lightbox the mall has not approved. Pegboard as a fashion experiment.

What cannot wait: a wrap you can pack on, a hang or shelf for the delivery, a walk, tickets.

Common mistakes

  • Campaign first, wrap never.
  • Custom joinery before the drill rule.
  • Every rack in the catalogue.
  • Tickets after opening.
  • Window as the size run.

What belongs on the quotation

  1. Must-open lines vs later lines, named.
  2. Wall, wrap, accessories, one feature.
  3. Landlord constraints.
  4. Opening month.
  5. Language of the document, Thai or English.

Send shop type, size, and the week you must trade. That is enough to specify a first schedule instead of a warehouse of heroes.

Open with a wall, a wrap, and a walk

If you are opening a shop in Thailand, buy the perimeter and the packing surface first. Send the shop type, the size, and the opening month through the fixture plan form. We will return one fixture schedule and one written quotation — Thai or English — with must-open lines at the top.

Common questions

Can I open without a custom cash wrap?
Yes, if a specified table still packs. A hero wrap that misses the dock does not open the shop.
Should mannequins be in the first quotation?
One form if the window needs a story. A crowd can wait. The wall and the wrap cannot.
Do tickets wait until after opening?
No. Unmarked facing is not merchandising. Put holders on the first schedule.
What if custom joinery will miss the opening date?
Say the date. We do not invent lead times. The schedule can open on standard wall plus wrap, with custom as a later line.
