Mirror vs Fitting Room Priority in a Small Boutique

Published 30 August 2026 · 4 min read

A mirror wall in the door is leftover spec. Close one room first. Then one mirror. Leave the aisle.

Mirror versus fitting room priority in a small boutique: a room that closes still beats a wall of mirrors in the door. Independent retailers in Thailand tile the first two metres with glass because a lookbook showed a salon. The shops that still sell keep one room that meets and one mirror after leftover walk exists.

Fitting room count is how many rooms. Fitting room hooks and bench is what the room holds. Mirror placement is millimetres on the wall, not a forest. Layout: decompression empty. This page is which job comes first.

What each is for

Room that closes. One. Privacy is a door that meets — fitting room fixtures, folding screen vs fitting room. Apparel without a room is a showroom — lingerie, plus-size, bridal.

One mirror. After decompression or in the room, leftover walk still named — aisle width. A wall of mirrors in the door is leftover spec. How many mannequins: a form is not a mirror substitute for try-on.

Not a salon forest. Hair salon retail if you also cut: that is a named leftover, not the boutique door. We do not invent a millimetre of station.

Wrap still packs. Mirrors do not replace leftover width at the till — cash wrap, queue vs browse.

Window: one story, not a mirrored first two metres. Landlord: demising glass may be theirs. Security mirrors vs layout: a dome does not replace remaining walk. We do not invent a security rating.

Opening priority: room and walk before a decorative mirror wall.

Common mistakes

  • Mirror wall in the door, no room that closes.
  • Folding screen as the only room.
  • Salon stations as boutique merchandising.
  • Mirrors that kill remaining walk.

What belongs on the quotation

  1. Room that closes — one, before decorative glass.
  2. Mirror count — usually one, millimetres on the quote.
  3. Remaining walk after the glass.
  4. Hooks in the room — named.
  5. Language of the document, Thai or English.

Send shop type and whether you sell apparel that must be tried. That is enough to specify a room instead of a mirror forest.

Room first, one mirror, walk left

If you are fitting a boutique in Thailand, put the room on the quotation before a wall of glass. Send the shop type, the size, and the opening month through the fixture plan form. We will return one fixture schedule and one written quotation — Thai or English — covering the room, the mirror, and the walk.

Common questions

Can mirrors replace a fitting room?
No. One room that closes. A mirror checks a hem; it does not replace try-on.
Mirror wall in the first two metres?
No. Decompression stays empty. Remaining walk on the quotation.
Folding screen as the only room?
No. A screen is not the room. Specify a door that meets.
Is there a standard mirror count?
Usually one. Put millimetres on the quotation. We do not publish a universal forest.
