Maternity Shop Fixture Plan for Small Units

Published 30 August 2026 · 4 min read

Face-out every colour and nobody finds a size. Hang the run. One sample. A door that meets.

A maternity shop fixture plan for small units is hangrail that still walks, one sample height, and a room that closes — not a fashion forest in the door. Independent retailers in Thailand hang every colour face-out because a boutique lookbook showed it. The shops that still find a size keep the run on specified hangrail and one sample height for the story.

Hangrail height still applies — millimetres on the quote, not a universal “maternity height.” Double vs single hang if tops and bottoms share the wall. Face-out vs shoulder-out: graphic once, density on the rail. Kids apparel heights if you also sell newborn: split the wall, do not split the difference.

What the floor can hold

Perimeter hangrail. The size run. Remaining walk still named — aisle width. A wider walk than a packed fashion unit is a planning choice, not a published millimetre brand. Wall vs freestanding if you cannot drill — landlord.

One sample height. Face-out or a form for the story — how many mannequins. Not a four-way forest — four-way, two-way vs four-way. Layout: decompression empty.

Fitting room. One that closes — fitting room count, fitting room fixtures. Maternity without a room is a showroom. A seat in the room belongs on the quote if you want it.

Wrap that packs. Bags, leftover width — cash wrap, queue space. Tickets on sizes — price tickets.

Hangers: match hanger to garment. Uniform shops are the size-run sibling. Back of house: receiving off the floor.

Window: one story. Seasonal window vs floor: one campaign.

Common mistakes

  • Every colour face-out.
  • No fitting room.
  • Four-way as the size run.
  • Averaging adult and newborn on one rail.

What belongs on the quotation

  1. Hangrail vs sample height — named.
  2. Remaining walk — named, millimetres on the quote.
  3. Room that closes.
  4. Newborn split if sold.
  5. Language of the document, Thai or English.

Send shop type and whether you sell newborn. That is enough to specify a size wall instead of a fashion forest.

Run on the rail, one sample, a room that meets

If you are fitting a maternity shop in Thailand, put sizes on hangrail. Send the shop type, the size, and the opening month through the fixture plan form. We will return one fixture schedule and one written quotation — Thai or English — covering the rail, the room, and the walk.

Common questions

Should every colour face out?
No. One sample height. Sizes on hangrail.
Is there a standard maternity hangrail height?
No. Put millimetres on the quotation. We do not publish a universal height.
Is a fitting room required?
One that closes. Maternity without a room is a showroom.
Newborn on the same rail as adult?
Split the wall. Averaging two heights is leftover spec.
